GET Cabrera Law Office

Precise counsel for organizations that can’t afford regulatory guesswork.

GET Cabrera Law pairs government regulatory experience with hands-on corporate practice — delivering legal strategy that anticipates institutional risk before it becomes a problem.

Practice Focus
“Institutional risk isn’t a courtroom problem until it’s ignored early.”

A decade spent moving between government regulatory service and private corporate practice — bringing both perspectives to every engagement.

Pursuing ENP Commissioning

The Supreme Court just made notarization digital. We're getting commissioned to offer it.

Under the Court's new Rules on Electronic Notarization, eligible documents can now be signed and notarized entirely online — with the same legal validity as a traditional notarization. GET Cabrera Law is pursuing commissioning as an Electronic Notary Public (ENP) to bring this service to clients directly.

Governing Rule
A.M. No. 24-10-14-SC, Rules on Electronic Notarization
Modes
In-Person (IEN) & Remote (REN)
Legal Validity
Same force and effect as traditional notarization

About the Practice

Regulatory instinct, built inside government. Applied in private practice.

Our founding attorney has spent over a decade moving between two vantage points that most practices only see from one side: nearly eight years within a national regulatory agency’s legal and compliance divisions, and a growing private practice advising companies that answer to regulators like it.

That public-sector foundation — investigating compliance matters, supporting legal services operations, and advising senior leadership on institutional risk — now shapes a practice built around general counsel advisory work, contract strategy, corporate governance, and alternative dispute resolution for companies across consumer health, agriculture, and technology.

The result is counsel that reads a regulation the way a regulator would, and a contract the way opposing counsel will.

Practice Areas

Six disciplines, one throughline: managing risk before it escalates.

  • 01

    Regulatory Compliance

Guidance for regulated businesses navigating licensing, product approval, and agency oversight — grounded in real experience inside a national regulatory body.

  • 02

    Contract Strategy & Drafting

Agreements structured and negotiated to protect long-term interests, not just close the immediate deal — from vendor terms to commercial partnerships.

  • 03

    Corporate Governance

Board resolutions, corporate housekeeping, and statutory compliance kept current, so governance never becomes a liability during due diligence.

  • 04

    Alternative Dispute Resolution

Arbitration and negotiated settlement strategy for disputes better resolved outside the courtroom — faster, more private, and more predictable.

  • 05

    Product Recall & Risk Management

Institutional risk response for regulated products, including recall coordination, internal investigation, and regulator-facing communication.

  • 06

    General Counsel Advisory

Ongoing, in-house-style counsel for growing organizations that need a trusted legal partner without the overhead of a full legal department.

The Approach

Two vantage points. One practice.

Most attorneys advise regulated companies from one side of the table. This practice has sat on both.

  1. Nearly a decade

    Public Sector Foundation

Formative years inside a national regulatory agency — investigating compliance matters, supporting legal services, and advising senior leadership on institutional risk.

  2. Ongoing

    Private Corporate Practice

That regulatory grounding now shapes a private practice serving as outside and general counsel to companies across consumer health, agriculture, and technology.
